Hello! Welcome to Life Equals Design Studio. I’m Kim, a freelance graphic designer with an eye for current trends. I enjoy creating brand identities, layouts, social media content and email marketing. I pride myself on quick turn-around and open communication throughout the design process.
I also enjoy creating custom artwork, prints, invitations and cards. I love to share my passion for typography, illustration and design. Whether it’s to hang on the wall or send out in the mail, creating a unique piece for someone is a privilege and I love being a part of that process.
I’m a St. Charles girl at heart (with a quick stint in Florissant). I graduated from college in 2008 and quickly found a graphic design position at a local balloon manufacturer where I grew my career over the next nine years. In May of 2017, I left my full time graphic design job to pursue freelance work. I met my husband working at Mark Twain Hobby Center when I was a teenager and we now have two sweet daughters. Funny enough, my husband still works at Mark Twain Hobby Center and I now do their design work and marketing. I love (in no particular order) …Mexican food, IKEA, crafts, baking, entertaining, Jesus, rearranging and organizing our home, emojis, a cold beer, Target, springtime, cooking, iced coffee and making the world a more beautiful place, one design at a time.
